FUTURE READY
Our Prep immersive curriculum combines academic excellence with skills-based learning, preparing children for a rapidly changing world.
As a through school, Prep pupils benefit from lessons in Computing, Music, Drama, Modern Languages, and PE with Senior School specialists, and participate in enrichment activities and clubs alongside older pupils to broaden their knowledge.
With 1:1 devices supporting digital literacy, our children consistently exceed national expectations, with Year 6 pupils achieving excellent 11+ results and gaining scholarships into our Senior School.
Prep Curriculum
A FOCUS ON STRONG ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT AND PROGRESS
Building on the foundations from Nursery and Pre-Prep, we challenge our pupils across a broad curriculum to prepare them for Senior School.
Recognising the rapidly changing world, we equip children with the skills, confidence, and self-belief to thrive. Our personalised, care-centred approach provides a safe, supportive environment where they can challenge themselves and grow into flexible, collaborative, creative problem-solvers of tomorrow.
PRACTICAL, REAL-LIFE EXPERIENCES
Through practical, hands-on experiences, children become curious, engaged learners—solving problems, collaborating with peers, and developing sustained shared thinking.
Guided by our “Aspire Higher” ethos, each child is encouraged to give their best, with our Character Development programme supporting growth both in and out of school. We believe that true education nurtures not only academic achievement but also character, resilience, and a global perspective.

READY TO EXCEL
Stretch and challenge opportunities, the extra-curricular Aspire Higher and 11 plus ‘boost’ preparation classes are all offered to help prepare those pupils who wish to sit the entrance exams into local Essex Grammar Schools and the Assessments for our Scholarship applications into our Senior School.
