Whether children are joining Pre-Prep from our own bright interactive nursery or moving from other schools, our high levels of personalised teaching and learning will ensure your child continues to make sustained and high-quality progress on their learning journey.

Pre-Prep Curriculum

Academic excellence is built upwards from the strong foundations of phonics, reading and mathematics which is why they underpin our Pre-Prep Curriculum.

Our adaptive and immersive curriculum provides each child with a challenging curriculum that fosters deep conceptual understanding in these key areas.

BUILDING A FIRM FOUNDATION

We then build upon this core foundation by shaping imaginative, creative and informative lessons.

Art and Design, STEAM activities, digital literacy, humanities and languages enhance your child’s understanding of the world and helping them build the learning skills required for the next stage of their education.

We balance the children’s academic endeavours with specialist PE lessons and plenty of opportunities to play.

GIVING PURPOSE TO THEIR LEARNING

We look forward to ensuring our children develop the skills required to be the changemakers of tomorrow's world. Digital literacy, collaboration, creativity, real-world problem solving, innovation and independence are all key skills that the workforce of tomorrow will require. Our immersive curriculum ensures the children have a purpose to their learning, allowing them opportunities to see the value and significance of their learning and giving it focus and value.

All children in Reception - Year 2 are issued with their own iPad for use in the classroom, ensuring they benefit from the use of technology to support and enhance their learning. The use of iPads encourages them to be content creators, not consumers, develops digital competence and citizenship, and ensures pupil agency and personalised learning.
