At Colchester Prep & High School, we are committed to preparing every pupil for life beyond school through a comprehensive Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) programme.
Our aim is to inspire ambition, raise aspirations, and equip pupils with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to make informed decisions about their future education, training, and employment. Through a combination of lessons, employer encounters, workplace experiences, and personalised guidance, we ensure every student has the opportunity to explore a wide range of career pathways and achieve their full potential.

CPHS CAREERS NEWSLETTER
Our new CPHS Careers Newsletter is designed to support our Senior pupils and parents with all thing’s careers related.
This newsletter provides insights into our school’s careers education, along with guidance on post-16 options, work experience opportunities, career spotlights, apprenticeships, and advice for parents on supporting their children’s future choices. EXTERNAL CAREERS SUPPORT
SPW Careers deliver all the 1-1 careers guidance in school. The team are all fully qualified Career Advisers and on the Career Development Institute professional register.
Alongside supporting all the 1-1 careers guidance within the school they also deliver a variety of workshops, lessons and assemblies to our pupils each year.
