RANKED 20TH IN THE TIMES PARENT POWER GUIDE
We are proud to announce that we have been ranked 20th in The Times Parent Power Guide for 2025.
The highly esteemed guide is compiled based on examination results and is published annually.
We could not be prouder to have been placed so highly in the ‘Top independent secondary schools with no sixth forms’ category.
In our 2025 GCSE results, 48.4% of grades were 7-9; the highest levels of academic achievement available (National Average 21.8%).

MEET OUR HEADTEACHER,
MS GRACIE-LANGRICK
Ms Gracie-Langrick has over 25 years experience in Independent co-education and is passionate about developing the qualities in our young people that will help them to reach their full potential and improve the world around them.
Under her leadership and guidance, the school has achieved a double excellent in the ISI Inspection; retained its status as a Microsoft Showcase School for 3 years; attained the prestigious Eco Schools Green Flag Award with Distinction in 2023; and most recently gained the ISA Award for Excellence and Innovation in Mental Health and Wellbeing.

We are proud to have been awarded the highest possible grade: EXCELLENT in ALL areas in our ISI Inspection.
As well as being fully compliant in every aspect of the Regulatory Compliance Inspection, it was determined that the children's academic achievement is "Excellent" and the children's personal development is "Excellent".

We’re thrilled to share that Rafael will soon be lighting up our screens in the BBC’s brand new adaptation of Lord of the Flies — the first-ever television version of William Golding’s iconic novel 🎬
Rafael stars as Robert, one of the “biguns,” in this highly anticipated four-part series written by Jack Thorne (Adolescence) and directed by BAFTA winner Marc Munden. Filmed on location in Malaysia, the production features an incredible young cast and a score co-created by Oscar-winning composer Hans Zimmer.
Since wrapping production, Rafael has already landed a lead role in the upcoming horror film ‘The Third Parent’, starring alongside Hollywood legends Rob Lowe, Crispin Glover, and Roselyn Sanchez due for release in early 2026!

Before half term, our nursery pupils enjoyed exploring the Bee-Bots 🤖
They followed instructions carefully and were delighted to see the bots move around the colourful mats and classroom, bringing their learning to life through interactive play.
At CPHS, our Early Years provision combines hands-on, practical learning with specialist lessons in subjects such as Music, PE, and ICT, helping to develop curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning from the very start.

Year 9 have been exploring the exciting world of printing in Art! 🎨
Pupils experimented with paints, tried writing backwards, and used their imagination to create unique designs. While the process wasn’t always straightforward, their resilience and problem-solving skills shone through, helping them refine their techniques and achieve some truly striking prints.
