Throughout the School year, pupils from Nursery to Year 4 can be found happily climbing, exploring, running, jumping, balancing and searching for insects during their Forest School adventures. This is what the children call “having fun getting muddy” and we call “hands on learning” opportunities. The opportunity to take on new challenges and risks, to investigate in new ways and to develop their self-belief, confidence and emotional well-being. And most importantly an opportunity for their minds, bodies and hearts to be exercised all at once.
