CHS Pupils are Wearing Wacky Socks to Raise Money for CRY
Colchester High School continues to demonstrate commitment to raising funds in aid of charities close to the hearts of both pupils and staff.
With this in mind The Charity Council today organised a ‘Wacky Sock Day’ where staff and pupils from Nursery to Year 11 were invited to come into school wearing whacky socks in place of their uniform socks in exchange for a donation of £1. Over £300 was raised and all proceeds will be put towards the Charity Council campaign to support CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young).
The Senior School also held a bake sale with proceeds going to CRY and extra house points being given to the house that raised the most money.
Thank you to the Charity Council for organizing such a fun charitable event!
