CHS Pupils Gain 2nd Place at the EES for Schools KS2 Mathematics Competition 2017

Well done to Alfie, Luke, Brett and Oscar who took part in the EES for Schools KS2 Maths challenge last week at Friars Grove Primary School. After a tough competition we are very proud that our pupils came second overall. Well Done Boys!

Below is a write up of the day from Oscar and Luke.

“On the 2nd of March 2017, Mr Jamieson chose 2 students from Year 5 and 2 students from Year 6 to go and compete in the Maths Competition at Friars Grove Primary School.  We went there with an aim to cooperate together in our team and do as good as we could.  Our hardest questions were the algebra ones!In the end we came 2nd out of 9 schools and lost only 10 points to the winners.  Half way through we were in 4th place and then pulled ourselves together and came 2nd.”
