Learning Support Unit

We have an excellent Learning Support Department for children who need extra help or are particularly gifted.

The Learning Support Department takes pupils from all age ranges across the school. Pupils come to the department in very small groups.

Sometimes pupils are withdrawn from appropriate lessons, e.g from English for Literacy help or from Maths for help with numeracy skills. Sometimes support is given in class.

In addition, for the Seniors, there is support available in early morning sessions, from 8:30 to 9:00, for specific help or with particular homework.
