BY CAR

Wellesley Road is a cul-de-sac with a small turning area near the School.  The road is part of the local Residents Parking Scheme, therefore parents must display a permit, available from the School Office, when dropping off or collecting their children.

BY TRAIN

Colchester North Station

This is on the main Liverpool Street - East Coast line which serves the nearby villages and towns of Marks Tey, Kelvedon, Witham and Chelmsford.  A bus service connects the station with the town centre.

 Colchester Town Station (formerly known as St. Botolph's)

This provides a rail link with Wivenhoe, Great Bentley, Clacton, Frinton and Walton.  It is approximately 15 minutes walk for the school.

BY BUS

Public Transport

First bus operates some school services from surrounding areas including Braintree, Maldon and Mersea Island.  Buses to and from the surrounding area stop in Crouch Street (three or four minutes from school) and at the Maldon Road end of Wellesley Road.

From Great Braxted, Wickham Bishops, Great Totham, Tolleshunt Major, Tolleshunt D'Arcy and Great Wigborough.  Operates a coach service to the various schools in Lexden Road.

Buses run from Walton; through Thorpe, Weeley and Elmstead Market.  From Clacton; through St. Osyth and Thorrington and from Brightlingsea and Wivenhoe.

Chelmsford Taxibus

From Danbury, Woodham Mortimer, Little Baddow, Hatfield Peverel, also now stops at Bicknacre and High Street, Kelvedon.  This service also serves pupils attending various schools in Lexden Road.

Parent run service which operates a 16 seater minibus from Dovercourt, via Wix, to Colchester.  Services school in Lexden Road.
