Art and Design

The art department has an outstanding record of achievement over the last 20 years and offers a wide range of creative alternatives to each year group culminating in the now legendary life size models which each student gets an opportunity to make at GCSE level.

Drawing, painting, printmaking and ceramics are offered to each year group and studies are enhanced by regular visits to galleries and museums so that students gain a good understanding about the art world both past and present.
